Violence will not be heard again in your land, nor devastation or destruction within your borders; But you will call your walls salvation, and your gates praise.

Christ the Lord
Latest read...... one word....... Amazing. I'm savoring every word. I started by reading the Author's Note at the back of the book first. I trust Anne Rice. I'm taking it at face value. I dreamed the story last night.

Susannah -- It's Christmas Eve. I'm in foggy Southern California, tired from the book tour of Christ the Lord, and about to go to Christmas Eve mass at my parish church. What a lovely thing to happen on your generous comment about the book. Take care, wherever you are, and I hope you have a glorious Christmas, close to those you love. The book still stirs controversy, but over all the reception has been an author's dream. People want to talk about their relationship to God right now. It's quite amazing. Love in Christ, Anne Rice. anneobrienrice@mac.com
